Do you retouch your photos?
If you're wondering if I can edit out that random person who walked into the background during your session, I absolutely can! If you're hoping to make your beach session look like it was shot in the Rocky Mountains, we might be pushing it. I do not do any heavy body retouching because I believe in capturing you as you are, beautiful and most importantly real. If there's something specific that you're worried about, just let me know ahead of time so I can help you feel good in your photos, not overly edited.

Do you provide the RAW or unedited photos to clients?
No, I do not offer raw or unedited photos to clients. Instead, I provide online access to the entire gallery of professionally edited images available for immediate download in high resolution as JPEG files.

What do I wear to my session?
Ultimately, whatever you feel most confident in! Go for coordinating colors, not matching (I am always more than happy to help you brainstorm ideas). Some people suggest only neutrals, but if bold is your vibe then stay true to you! The only thing I would suggest avoiding is large logos.

How long does it take to get our photos back?
I will have a handful of sneak peeks ready within 1-2 days of your session, and the full gallery is ready 2-3 weeks after your session. Rush editing is available to add on for an additional fee when booking, just make sure to let me know when booking!

I'm so awkward in front of the camera, can you help pose me?
YES! I've totally got you! I do not expect anyone to show up knowing how to pose, it's my job to guide you. I'll give you lots of fun prompts and direction to help things feel natural and not stiff. My goal is to help you relax and forget you even have a camera in front of you!

What if it rains on the day of our session?
Weather can be unpredictable, but for outdoor sessions I always keep an eye on the forecast. If we're 24-48 hours out and it's calling for a high chance of rain I'll reach out to make a game plan and either reschedule to a different day, find an indoor location, or embrace the chaos if it's just a little drizzle and you're down for it!
